From your first step off the plane to your last dip in the pool, rest assured your Palm Beach experience will be a pampered one. Here is our guide to a weekend of luxury in Palm Beach.
STOP 1
As your ride pulls up to the deceivingly understated entrance of The Brazilian Court hotel (room rates from $400 per night, suite rates from $600 per night), prepare for a welcome rush of elegance and tranquility the moment you step onto the property. Located walking distance from tony Worth Avenue, the high-style hotel boasts spacious luxury suites, Cadillac chauffeurs to the beach, secluded poolside setups and charming bike rentals to whisk you through the tropical streets of Palm Beach, not to mention the impeccable service, captivating Colonial architecture and secluded getaway feel throughout the hotel. Pampered bliss can be accomplished with an expert blowout from well known Frédéric Fekkai hair salon, located in the corner of the hotel.
STOP 2
Cross the intracoastal to West Palm Beach, to the northern edge of antique row, for a cultural stop at the recently renovated Norton Museum of Art. The ambitious redesign has everyone in town talking, as do its exhibits, including newcomer Georgia O’Keeffe: Living Modern (through Feb. 2), and its in-house restaurant, which serves gourmet fare from executive chef David Schiraldo.
STOP 3
Inside The Brazilian Court is Café Boulud, a charming restaurant offering internationally acclaimed food, a palm-fringed patio overlooking the hotel’s posh environs and an unparalleled waitstaff. A prix fixe option (Monday through Friday, $32) features three exquisite dishes, with options such as gazpacho andalou, cavatelli and Key lime pie; housemade pastas; a palate-pleasing breakfast menu; and an extensive beverage list.
STOP 4
Perusing the luxe streets of Palm Beach’s infamous Worth Avenue is a staple among visitors and locals. One of the most frequented stops along the way is undoubtedly Neiman Marcus. Opt for an afternoon of personal shopping: The style experts here will take your look to resort-ready glam—by way of Gucci and Jimmy Choo, of course.
STOP 5
Close your Palm Beach sojourn with a sunset cocktail at HMF, in the north loggia of The Breakers Palm Beach, named after resort founder Henry Morrison Flagler. Sip on any number of its specialty cocktails or a glass of wine. The hotel’s oceanfront views and well-heeled crowd top off your Palm Beach visit in style.
