Rosh Hashanah is right around the corner. How about a free cooking class to help celebrate?
The savory scents and delectable flavors of cacio e pepe Jerusalem kugel and kubbeh matzo ball are available with a quick swipe of your screen, thanks to a virtual cooking class that’s coming to Instagram from WoodSpoon.
The internet-based food delivery service works with more than 300 home chefs to bring customers fresh, homemade meals right to their door.
For this festive event, WoodSpoon teams with Alon Hadar, the proud owner and lead chef of Hamara catering business in New York City. On Wednesday, Sept. 21, Hadar will lead a follow-along cooking program to teach you and yours how to make cacio e pepe Jerusalem kugel and kubbeh matzo ball for your own Rosh Hashanah celebration.
Not only is it delicious, it’s also free. Hadar will take the viewers on a culinary journey and leave them with only the best taste in their mouth, and all you have to do is register at Woodspoon’s Instagram.
Hadar specializes in healthy and traditional Jerusalem-style food, offering everything from humus kebab to empanadas, pistachio halva and challah bread.
WoodSpoon likewise has its roots in Israel, and the company was created to help chefs earn a living wage and support their businesses while doing what they love: cooking.
The platform allows hungry customers to cater the largest of events or the smallest of dinner gatherings, while the dishes offer home-cooked meals that highlight their creator’s homeland. The most popular dishes on WoodSpoon capture the flavors of Israeli, the Caribbean, Italy and the U.S., with a few flavor fusions here and there.
Rosh Hashanah runs from Sunday to Tuesday, Sept. 25 to 27, and this upcoming Rosh Hashanah cooking show will broadcast live via Instagram a few days before.
Mark your calendar for Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 7 p.m., and don’t forget to register @eatwoodspoon. Learn more about WoodSpoon and its year-round offerings at eatwoodspoon.com, and L'Shana Tovah tikatevu!
