Houston’s restaurant scene is aflame with the recently debuted Mexican steakhouse, Toca Madera.
The signature Mexican steakhouse, Toca Madera, makes its Texas debut with decadent dishes and an unforgettable dining experience. Feast your eyes on the latest launch from Noble 33, led by Tosh Berman and Mikey Tanha, who are excited to bring guests a premium culinary experience at their first Houston restaurant. “Toca Madera Houston offers a unique high-touch dining experience that speaks to all the senses,” says Berman. “Great detail and attention is given to the architecture, design and soundscape, all combined with an incredible menu for a bespoke dining journey.”
Tucked inside the Pavillion at The Allen, the nearly 14,000-square-foot space is a jungle of luxury with plush velvet seats, handcrafted custom woodwork and cascading foliage, all dimly illuminated by hushed golden hues. Need some fresh air? Step onto the outdoor patio overlooking the expansive Eleanor Tinsley Park and find yourself surrounded by a fascinating nest-like structure bursting with lush greenery. Head back inside to explore the bars with gorgeous marble countertops, the lounge for a nightcap, or the private member’s club with exclusive food and drink options.
Executive chef Christian Brennen keeps the fire alive in the kitchen. Pour over mouthwatering Mexican cuisine reimagined with a modern twist and meticulously crafted cocktails. Indulge in the fresh sashimi Mexicanó with ahi tuna, cucumber, pomegranate, avocado and chile de árbol or the showstopping Flaming Tomahawk, sliced by chef tableside, served over salsa verde... and yes, it is on fire. Looking to enhance your taste buds with a drink? Beverage director Carla Lorenzo presents a farm-to-glass experience using fresh and seasonal ingredients that tempt all the senses. Our drink of choice is undoubtedly the Como La Flor, a rich mixture of Tres Generaciones Blanco, Licor 43, Fino sherry, coconut, guava, bitters, rose air and, to top it off, an edible flower.
It doesn’t stop there! Toca Madera brings the heat with an impressive lineup of nightly entertainment with live musicians, local and international DJs, and fire performers. “Houston marks Toca Madera’s fourth and largest location—a testament to the city’s international flare and palate,” adds Tanha. “We can’t wait for all to enjoy the Toca Madera experience.” 1755 Allen Parkway
