THE RITZ-CARLTON DALLAS, LAS COLINAS BECKONS WITH BRILLIANT NEW OFFERINGS AND A TEXAS-SIZED RENOVATION WORTH TOUTING.
The newly minted lobby reflects the lauded ambiance the Ritz- Carlton experience is famous for. Adjacent is Bar Juniper, which boasts a well-curated beverage program.
All 427 guest rooms have been enhanced, with thoughtful designs paying homage to the resort’s rich history as the former Little Ranch on the Hills
Synonymous with the iconic brand’s signature white-glove service, the newly renovated The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas, has, once again, soared to new heights with its most recent unveiling. Undergoing an impressive $55 million transformation, the newly converted property (initially the former home to the Four Seasons Las Colinas and then most recently The Las Colinas Resort, Dallas) sits pretty on 400 sprawling acres, featuring 427 total rooms between The Tower and Villas, including 401 guest rooms and 26 decadent suites. Reborn with enviable amenities, state-of-the-art equipment and esteemed services, the reimagined space lends itself to The Ritz-Carlton’s stamp on glitz and grandeur—making it the ultimate destination—for those near and far. “It has been incredible to see new life breathed into a storied property that this community has loved for so many years,” shares Tod Morrow, The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas general manager. “Guests not only enjoy an authentic Ritz-Carlton experience but also the close proximity allows them to step away from city life and truly escape while still maintaining easy access to in-demand shopping, dining and entertainment.”
The 400-acre property features 26 swoon-worthy suites where guests can truly escape while also adjacent to the bustling offerings on site.
Prime for wellness, the 14,000-square-foot salon and spa (set to open this month) offer anything you want from head to toe. The spa offers the ultimate sanctuary to hit pause, whether taking a plunge into the hydrotherapy tub, getting those tips and toes polished to perfection, or relaxing with a deep tissue massage. In the mood for a bit of activity? Additional comforts of the property include a vibrant poolside scene and two 18-hole PGA-certified golf courses--one that all guests can enjoy. The TPC Las Colinas course, initially opened in 1983, features a par 70-course paying tribute to past PGA tour champions on hole one.
Chef John Tesar’s Knife Italian evokes traditional cuisine in an exciting ambiance
Fun fact: the breathtaking course, designed by D.A. Weibring and Steve Wolfard, was the original home to the AT&T Byron Nelson. Golf enthusiasts, rejoice! The culinary season on property sizzles with an impressive roster, including Michelin-starred chef John Tesar’s latest culinary concept, KNIFE Italian. “Throughout the menu is an undertone of localism, celebrating local ranchers and purveyors and showcasing our dedication to sourcing the finest, freshest ingredients,” shares Tesar of the restaurant. “As the culinary landscape has evolved locally and nationally, diners are looking for a true dining experience that feels fresh and familiar, yet something unique that you don’t just get every day, and that is what we have curated with our newest restaurant concept.” The palate-pleasing menu features a sumptuous assortment of traditional Italian cuisine with a playful spin. It highlights dishes including a sizable steak and meat program, Neapolitan-style pizzas, and a crudi menu that knocks it out of the park. Insider tip: grab a nightcap at Bar Juniper—the opulent watering hole featuring myriad offerings of signature sips. Tapping into the lush surroundings that abound, the resort holds the premier distinction in the area with the Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Nearly 80 wildlife species can be spotted around the verdant property. Escapism truly awaits at this exotic new space—miles from the bustling Dallas/Fort Worth area. 4150 N MacArthur Blvd, Irving, @ritzcarltonlascolinas
