A group of eight Houston-based artists announce a new collaborative exhibition organized by a mysterious art patron known only by the name of Tagoci. The artists say that none of them have met Tagoci or know who he/she is, but they are thrilled about being a part of the show that spotlights some of Houston's best emerging talent.
The show features work by artists who excel in different styles. For example, David Pilgrim is Houston's premier assemblage artist who specializes in found objects made into motorized art pieces. Lee E. Wright, a Hunting Art Prize finalist, is a figurative painter that deals with relevant social issues, while Julie Zarate, a well-known nationally represented artist, paints contemporary portraits.
