One such property was recently completed by Lauren Prestridge, who the homeowners enlisted to map out the ultimate retreat. “The clients’ primary goal was to create a home that felt both comfortable and welcoming, while also offering the luxurious amenities of a resort,” notes Prestridge, who, along with her team at Studio Elle, meticulously worked to bring every detail to life for optimal results. “While the home boasts numerous features like steam showers, an infinity pool, a game room, and a wine cellar, it also offers countless spaces designed for family togetherness. Whether it’s enjoying quality time in one of the cozy nooks or curling up on the expansive sofa for a movie night, the home strikes the perfect balance. With its distinctive blend of elegance and comfort, it has the unique feel of a boutique hotel, providing both relaxation and indulgence.” The 1,096 square-foot home hosts six bedrooms, six full bathrooms and three powder rooms. Upon arrival, visitors meet a stunning custom iron and glass-angled entrance with a cantilevered porch. The design team was set to incorporate the surrounding environment as it pertained to the space.

The great room features sky-high ceilings and uber-luxe furnishings, including Theodore Alexander sofa tables, Verellen upholstered furniture, Henge lighting and artwork sourced from Sabine Maes Art.

The cellar is the ultimate spot for entertaining, exuding a cool industrial vibe with a touch of sophistication. A banquette, sketched and designed by Prestridge, sits elegantly near the poker table, which is highlighted by a Baccarat chandelier overhead.

The homeowners’ love for travel also weaves throughout the space, incorporating treasures acquired over time. “Throughout their journeys, they meticulously documented their favorite design elements and features, often sending photos to capture the essence of what resonated with them,” shares Prestridge. The team at Studio Elle worked to incorporate such details. “From there, we either sourced similar items or crafted bespoke pieces that built upon their ideas, resulting in a one-of-a-kind, custom design that reflects their global experiences and feels deeply personal. The result is a home that’s a true reflection of their travels and vision—where every corner tells a story, and every detail is a piece of their journey.”
