Gather the girls! Every night is ladies’ night at River Oaks’ latest restaurant and lounge, PostScript HTX. From the team behind XOXO Dining Room—Dallas’ buzziest speakeasy cocktail lounge and restaurant—comes an exciting feat full of decadent bites and dazzling interior details to match. Set to open its doors later this season, GAP Concepts founders Veeral Rathod and Obi Ibeto have carefully curated the female-forward space, showcasing a nearly 400-seat main dining room, cocktail and dining lounge, private dining space and a lavish outdoor garden patio. “We love the safe, supportive and high energy environment that has occurred organically in Dallas at XOXO Dining Room, and we’re aiming for the same at PostScript HTX with an experience tailormade for this sophisticated site,” shares Rathod. “While our focus is female-forward, we have refined our design and concept in Houston to be friendlier to our male clientele.”

Inside, the 9,3000-square-foot space is adorned with glamorous and oh, so pink interiors (think playful vignettes designed for different moods, an array of Instagrammable moments, plush seating and so much more). An elaborate exterior art installation from Punk Me Tender welcomes guests into the venue, and the artist’s signature shades of pink and showstopping butterflies can also be found floating around inside. Our favorite detail? The Press for Champagne doorbells at each booth for sweet (and swift) sips, of course. And for diners seeking an even more intimate experience, we recommend reserving the private dining room, which seamlessly flows into its own bar and patio area.

When it comes to the menu, expect nothing less than elevated offerings rife with top-tier ingredients and bold flavors. Spearheading it all is highly acclaimed consulting chef and local Houstonian Bryan Caswell. (Did we mention he is also a James Beard Award finalist and former Food & Wine Best New Chef?) “Bryan has set a delicious tone for us to follow at PostScript HTX,” says Ibeto. “He was intrigued by our pitch for a concept that’s really unlike anything in the city, and with his consulting expertise, our guests will be in for a dining treat with the opening menu he has created for us.” Perfect for sharing with the table or indulging on your own, crowd-favorite dishes include Bryan’s signature seafood dishes, large-format steaks and more.
