Katy wine lovers prepare to meet your newest obsession. Postino, the beloved all-day wine bar and cafe has opened its latest location in the newly renovated complex, LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch.
The gorgeous new open layout location is positioned in the center of LaCenterra and overlooks the plaza’s lawn and courtyard. With rollaway glass walls, a large patio and a mid-century modern theme throughout, the cafe’s design is truly a breath of fresh air.

It’s also an ideal spot for an Instagrammable snap. The restaurant features a wall of 185 antique rotary phones arranged in a colorful array, as an homage to Katy’s American Telephone & Telegraph Co. founded in 1900. There’s also a fully functional, stand-alone vintage telephone booth as well as a display of vintage Murano glass lighting fixtures. Postino worked with local artist Robert Leroy Hodge to create and install a massive mural for the space, perfect for an outfit of the day photo.

Postino has grown in popularity and presence since its Houston launch in 2017. With tasty tapas and divine wine selections, the cafe has found its niche. On the menu find a lineup of 12 unique bruschetta recipes, with combinations like prosciutto di parma, fig and mascarpone, or sweet and spicy pepper jam with goat cheese. Other shareable plates include the popular crispy cauliflower tossed in sultana raisins, capers and housemade romesco sauce, and abounding charcuterie boards. A full menu of paninis, soups, and salads is also available as well as a lengthy daily wine list.

“We’ve received such a warm reception in Houston,” says Postino co-founder Lauren Bailey. “Over the years, we’ve had so many guests visiting us from Katy, that we had to come to check out the community. We’re thrilled to find this spot and create a place for the Katy community to gather. We can't wait!”

Postino also brings with it the new Postino Wine Cult Program. Wine lovers are invited to subscribe to the wine box program to receive a curated selection of four boutique wines once per quarter. Postino’s beverage director and advanced sommelier, Brent Karlicek, selects a mix of red and white wines, both adventurous and divine, for each Cult Box. Each box also includes educational content about the selected wines, so you can flex your wine knowledge to your friends.
“Great wine elevates any dining experience and makes it unforgettable, which is why this new program is aimed at introducing guests to unexpected and delicious wines from some of the most passionate winemakers in the industry,” Karlicek says. “With Wine Cult, our members get that same Postino experience outside of our four walls, along with learning materials and all sorts of other fun hook-ups.”
