Parkway Young Professional has kicked off the season with its first ever holiday event. In partnership with the Salvation Army, the festivities included a tremendous toy drive and an array of opportunities to celebrate the boosters of the citywide YP organization—the national real estate investment firm which operates landmark Houston office campuses including Greenway Plaza and Uptown’s Post Oak Central.

The event was held at Lewis & Maese–Sawyer Yards and was masterfully decorated with vintage horse carriages, classic signs and dozens of glistening chandeliers courtesy of 360 AV Design. Inside, the space was lined with vintage furniture repurposed as seating, bars and serving tables, with an antique credenza-turned-stylish podium for DJ Men-Yo. Guests sipped on signature cocktails and munched on seasonal hors d’oeuvres from the Dough Cone hot cocoa and cider bar and so much more.
The theme of the event, “To Give and To Get,” was in full force, as each guest was entered into luxurious raffles (think an overnight stay at The Woodlands Resort, hundreds of dollars in gift cards for the nearby Loft18 interactive sports bar and grill and a voucher for Lewis & Maese) as a thank you for all of the event’s donations.
