Exclusive Furniture was founded by Sam Zavary in 1998 and continues to be a family-owned business with the community in mind. Sam has successfully navigated Exclusive Furniture’s growth in the landscape of Houston, opening seven stores over 335,000 square feet of showroom space in the 2000s, and will look toward opening two additional stores in 2022.
Nurturing a community-oriented culture, Sam and his team often donate furniture, money, and time to help the cause of other charitable organizations, such as Back2School season donating backpacks and supplies totaling over $10,000 and also provided aid both with donations and furniture to Natural Disaster Events such as Hurricane Ida relief donation drives, Holiday Giving Campaigns including Operation Turkey, 12 Days of Christmas with Houston’s KRIV FOX-26, Houston FoodBank and also to recent Afghanistan refugee furniture needs. Remarkably, the estimated total donations that Exclusive Furniture gave in 2021 reached over$200,000.
“We love to give back to those in need,” Sam says. “I feel that everyone has a purpose in life, and I believe that it’s not just my duty but also my purpose in this world to be a helping hand.”
