We’re a few days into 2022, but there’s still a new year on the horizon. This year’s Lunar New Year comes Tuesday, Feb. 1, and it heralds a new Year of the Tiger.
The third animal in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese Zodiac and calendar, the tiger represents strength, courage and the power to rid the world of evil. This year’s tiger specifically is called a water tiger, which can create a strong sense of self-esteem and affinity to learn—all things worth celebrating in our powerful and ever-changing era!

Prada isn't content just to celebrate the year with gorgeous looks. It's Action in the Year of the Tiger campaign also raises funds and awareness for the endangered creature. Faced by actor and singer Li Yifeng and actress Chun Xia, the collection features bold styles in red, black and white prints to create a sleek and sporty athleisure look that’ll turn heads and make a real difference. For its part, Prada is donating to the “Walking with Tiger and Leopard” Programme of China Green Foundation.

A series of Air Jordan 1s are decked out with cool tiger-striped swooshes and golden designs that’ll have you steppin’ with all the courage of a sly feline.
