Having recently opened in River Oaks, Leo’s is on a roar.
Leo’s marries the ultimate mix of traditional charm with an elegant twist
Houston, we have a problem. There is a new restaurant that we cannot get enough of. Ladies and gentlemen, might we introduce you to Leo’s—Houston’s hottest new culinary concept. From the team behind some of the city’s buzziest spots, including the newly reimagined River Oaks Theatre, this handsome eatery hosts myriad palate-pleasers and a sumptuous craft cocktail menu, including a sizeable selection of Old Fashioned cocktails. And let’s take a moment to look at the decor. Opulence abounds in the (nearly) 5,000-square-foot space where a modern art deco aesthetic is top of mind. From gilded chandeliers, feathered fixtures and tartan carpets, the restaurant weaves its signature Leo lion throughout. “We created Leo’s River Oaks as a tribute to the vibrant spirits and fierce creativity of my wife and daughter, both Leos,” shares Omar Khan, founder of Culinary Khancepts, the hospitality group behind the unveiled spot. “Every detail—from the design to the cuisine—tells a story that celebrates their incredible energy and inspiration.” Summoning with seasonal dishes, including the Truffle Agnolotti filled with mushroom brodo and winter black truffles, Leo’s also offers an extensive selection of prime steaks with the option to adorn with something extra (might we suggest the truffle butter?) Topping things off, look at their signature sips and colorful confections. We can promise you’ll be purring for more whichever route you choose. 2009 West Gray St.
