Kathleen Jennings' Beauty Must-Haves

H-Town’s favorite makeup maven and skincare expert shares her top beauty buys.

Kathleen Jennings was influencing the beauty scene before “influencer” was a social media buzzword. In 2014, she created booking app Beauty Now for spa and salon reservations. When assets of the app were later acquired by Groupon, she was able to fully focus on Kathleen Jennings Beauty, the blog she initially launched in 2013 to promote the app. Now, with 63,000 Instagram (@kathleenjenningsbeauty) followers—and counting—she’s one of the most trusted beauty sources in Houston and beyond. When not sporting eye gels in the carpool lane (#CarpoolMasking) or petitioning Clarins to restock her favorite depuffing mask, the makeup maven and mom of three can be found bouncing around H-Town on the hunt for the best beauty finds and skincare treatments. Jennings’ special sauce is her candid reviews of products and services, ranging from drugstore steals to high-end splurges. Here, the buzzy blogger shares her tried-and-true beauty buys.
