Bad Bunny continues to make history as an Airbnb Host, with a body of work brilliantly breaking cultural norms and amassing over 9.1 billion Spotify streams.
Following the conclusion of his sold-out "El ultimo Tour Del Mundo 2022 tour" in Miami, the chart-topping singer became an Airbnb host for the first time, asking chosen fans to spend an evening aboard his larger-than-life matte black big rig – a one-of-a-kind truck with a 53' trailer.
"Being on tour has reconnected me with my fans, and the energy they give me during each show in every city we visit is incredible," said Bad Bunny. "I'm hoping that by hosting guests in my truck, I can give them a chance to feel like they're on tour with me. This truck has played such a big role in the concept of my tour and my last album that I want to share this unique experience with them."
The chrome flames, customized grill and lights, and all-leather interiors of the West Coast Customs-designed rig are inspired by the critical role trucks have played in Bad Bunny's musical success, with trucks even appearing on his latest album cover and taking center stage during the opening sequence of his tour.
The trailer showcased a bedroom decked out in florals like "YO PERREO SOLA," as well as other locations with hints to "LA NOCHE DE ANOCHE" and "SI VEO A TU MAMA," with inspiration derived from some of the artist's most popular music videos.
Bad Bunny opened the doors of his big rig for three one-night stays on April 6, 7, 8 for two visitors each for only $91 a night, a homage to his 9.1 billion Spotify streams in 2021. Guests aslo had the chance of a lifetime to visit a location that, both on and off the stage, explores Bad Bunny's past, present, and future, including:
Airbnb will give a one-time donation to the Fundación Good Bunny in celebration of the Puerto Rican community, which works to improve the quality of life for Puerto Rican youngsters through supporting youth arts and sports projects.
Those who stayed in Bad Bunny's big rig adhered to all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations, as well as Airbnb's COVID-19 Safety Practices, which included wearing a mask and practicing social distancing when required by local laws or guidelines. While on-site, workers also followed local norms and guidelines and Airbnb's five-step improved cleaning process.
Guests were also responsible for their travel to and from Miami and any additional travel and hotel expenses incurred to attend the show.
