While studying in Los Angeles, Hunter Martin was approached by Jamie Adler—the owner of Phyliss Morris—to come and work for her. The rest is design history. Martin, the owner and principal of Hunter Martin Interiors, has since settled in Houston where he brings celebrity-worthy glam to Texas homes.

The designer’s favorite part of his job is “pushing the limits of my clients’ imagination and comfort zones while knowing where we end up will be far beyond what they expected, and in turn, helping my clients live a more enriched and fabulous life.”

The thoughtfulness to every detail and accessory, no matter how small, is what Martin considers to be the defining ethos of his business, and what sets him apart from the competition. He specializes in residential, commercial and private aviation design with a “modern, sophisticated and glamorous flair.”

Soon, Martin will launch a podcast, Wine and Design, with fellow Houston-based designer—and best friend—Mary Patton. We can’t wait to hear what luxurious tips he has up his fashionable sleeves.
