Dine out deliciously while contributing to the Houston Food Bank. Houston Restaurant Weeks runs from August 1 through September 3 with hundreds of spots to choose from. Here are five hot picks to whet your appetite.
Potente seafood stew

Brennan’s of Houston

Goode Co. Kitchen & Cantina

Le Colonial
The three-course lunch menu ($20) is a great way to experiment with Vietnamese plates like vegetarian curry and banh cuon (steamed rice crepes stuffed with chicken, mushrooms and a chili lime sauce).
