With the primary goal to minimize paving and maximize green space, the homeowner turned to McDugald Steele Landscape Architects & Contractors to help assemble a lush paradise that abounds throughout the 13,000-square-foot space. “In the front garden, a focus was to preserve the property’s expansive green space while showcasing a spectacular 75-year-old specimen of Live Oak and Crepe Myrtles,” shares the team at McDugald. “Low plantings were designed around the Crepe Myrtles to provide open views and prevent the space from feeling enclosed.” The final result after these green gods went to work on the space? A verdant paradise to call home.
