Love Croissants' menu features everything from the classic butter croissant to the blueberry lemon lime tart to the Crolache
LOVE CROISSANTS
The rumors are true: the best way to a person’s heart is through the stomach, and Love Croissants' founder Omar Pereney knows precisely that. Inspired by his deep connection with baking and the challenge of croissants, he discovered his new passion for flaky, buttery goodness and wanted everyone to experience a love story with his creation. “At Love Croissants, we love making people feel special, and for us, that means sourcing the highest quality butter, flour and sugar, then matching it with impeccable lamination technique, a colorful mix of classic and modern ideas and bold flavors,” says Pereney. Where to snag one of these savory snacks? The latest location in Midtown serves up crowd favorites like the Pain au Chocolat, twice-baked almond cardamom and blueberry lemon lime tart. 2808 Caroline St.
Sugar FRK chef Don Bowie
SUGAR FRK
Dare to indulge with chef Don Bowie’s recently debuted specialty dessert concept in Midtown, Sugar Frk, where rule-breaking convections with uniquely paired ingredients (think an orange creamsicle donut, PBJ crunch cookie and more) elevate the game. “ I have always enjoyed Midtown and the vibe it has daily. Just in the short time we’ve been open, we’ve met a lot of our neighbors, and they have been very excited and receptive to us,” says Bowie. Some of the tempting treats on the menu include a fizzy americano, frozen banana pudding daiquiri, cream cheese and fruit Danish and much, much more. 314 Gray St.
GREEN FORK AND STRAW
Houston’s dining scene just got tastier with Green Fork and Straw’s recently debuted 1,200-square-foot space off Westheimer. Marking its third location in H-town, the brand has revolutionized the restaurant scene with its grab-and-go approach to health-forward fresh juices, smoothies and meals. “We’re out here doing what we love, and the response from the community has been so much more than I could have imagined,” says owner Blair Kern. “I am very excited to showcase our new space for our customers to enjoy. They deserve this the most.” This must-visit restaurant makes eating well easy, from delightful fresh juice creations like the Joy Juice with carrot, ginger, apple and lemon to conveniently packaged products like the pesto caesar salad and gluten-free coconut chocolate cookies for on-the-go customers. 3601 Westheimer Rd.

Expanding impact and pouring with passion, Bitty and Beaus is bringing a pinch of magic to every cup of coffee.
