Houston Zoo Boo
Bring the whole family to celebrate fall festivities at the Houston Zoo this Halloween season, and be sure to come in your best costumes! This year’s Zoo Boo, from now until Oct. 31st, features experiences including the Pumpkin Tree by Proud Source, animal-themed peek-a-boo pumpkins and the carved pumpkins presented by Frost Bank.
Boo on the Boardwalk
There are plenty of Halloween activities to enjoy at the Kemah Boardwalk during their annual Boo on the Boardwalk, including mini pumpkin decorating, kid’s costume contests, magic shows, Halloween movie screenings and live concerts. Chapman & Kirby makes a spooky return to Halloween with the 8th annual Night at the Haunted Mansion Halloween Bash. Christian’s Tailgate Midtown location has joined forces with Crawl With Us to host the ultimate Official Halloween Bar Crawl on Oct. 26th. It all starts at Christian’s Tailgate with free karaoke, $2 Jell-O shots and a $3 Bud Light Draft. The evening is sure to get you in the spirit with exclusive drink deals, food specials, professional photographers and a $1,000 national costume contest.
Heights & Co.’s Halloween Town
Heights & Co.’s legendary Halloween Town is back, and dare we say better than ever? This year boasts a month-long lineup of movies, themed cocktails and extra special Halloween s’mores boards. The boards feature ghost-decorated marshmallows and torched marshmallow cream, caramel-dipped green apple, house chocolates (done in molds so there will be skull chocolate, pumpkin chocolate and ghost chocolate), cinnamon graham crackers, chocolate graham crackers and classic graham crackers - served at tables outside with tabletop flame.
