Known for capturing scenic locations from the land and sky, Texas native Gray Malin has brought his photography skills to San Diego with his new Gray Malin at Hotel del Coronado series. Composed of more than 20 unique images shot at Hotel del Coronado, the series pays homage to the 1960s with sunbathers lounging on the sand in retro swimsuits, making a splash in the pool against the backdrop of The Del’s Victorian red roof, and hanging ten with colorful surfboards. While art aficionados can purchase the beach-chic shots for placement in their home, they can also enjoy the works with a two-night stay in the new Gray Malin Oceanfront Suite at Hotel del Coronado. Open through Dec. 31, 2023, the top-floor corner suite was designed by Wimberly Interiors and features home decor, furnishings and artwork by Malin throughout the space. You’ll even take home your own framed mini print from the new series signed by the artist himself. Picture perfect, indeed.
