Givenchy's Artistic Director Debuts His Dream Shoe

By James Aguiar By James Aguiar | June 22, 2022 | Style & Beauty

What does the most street-style-savvy designer working today do when they can’t find the right sneaker?

They create one. That’s exactly what Givenchy’s Matthew M. Williams decided to do when he designed his self-described “dream shoe.” The artistic director known for melding couture techniques with an of-the-moment mentality has created a shape that not only stops traffic, but technically holds its own with its revolutionary single-piece structure. Trend and technique combine with a classic stretch knit upper fully integrated with the sole, bringing comfort, style and a fashion-forward approach that sets the wearer apart and the basic far behind. Available nationwide July 1, your only decision is which color to get.
