Event Recap: Fresh Faces of Fashion 2023

Houston magazine’s signature—and most stylish—event returned to Tootsies for the fifteenth annual Fresh Faces of Fashion. The invitation-only fashion show celebrated 12 influential and philanthropic Houston women who challenge the status quo and look great doing it! Each honoree strutted down the runway in different looks carefully curated by Tootsies creative fashion director Fady Armanious, hair and makeup by Studio A Salon and show produced by Wendy Norwood Patterson.

Alongside Armanious, our very own Jennifer Cope returned as this year’s fashion show emcees, and a bevy of sponsors (think Tootsies, Polestar, Skinceuticals, Pellegrino, Acqua Panna, Lalo Tequila and many more) truly made it a night to remember. As for the honorees? Allow us to introduce Vanessa Ames, Chelsea Collmer, Natalie Hodge, Melissa Moncrief, Dana Barton, Meghan Cornelius Conroy, Janice Hollins, Kathy de la Mora, Kristen Collins, Claire Day, Margot Delaronde Marcell and Kat Pressly.

Before the catwalk, guests munched on light bites from The Big Vibe Group while DJ Nick Serena turned up the party. And, staying true to the heart of the event, this year’s proceeds helped support Texas Children’s Hospital’s cancer center, which provides personalized and innovative care for children and young adults in the community.
