Creativity and excitement collide at Iris Gifts & Decor, a luxury gifts and decor shop founded by Sarah Connor in 2021 in the Shops at Memorial City in West Houston. The store offers customers an array of luxury and bespoke items for the home, gifts for men, women, and children of all ages, paper goods, drink and barware, and much more. Every holiday and the celebratory season will bring in new and exciting themed goods for the occasion.
The store namesake is inspired by the lineage of women who have built and contributed to the successful foundation Sarah stands upon. For generations, Sarah’s family has given irises to each other as a sign of support and love, and naming the store Iris is her way of paying homage to her Mimi (Grandmother) and Mama (Great Grandmother) while keeping their spirits alive in the Houston community.
“I am a fourth-generation Iris and I want generations beyond me to be a part of the iris tradition. I created Iris to curate a culture of warmth, imagination, and joy within our store and within our community.”
Iris exists to create a culture of warmth, imagination, and joy. There is happiness in gifts; whether for yourself or a loved one, at both ends of the experience, you can feel happiness and joy and the shopping experience at Iris is no exception. On certain days of the week, you can find seasonally appropriate pop-up shops and even after-hours social gatherings focused on bringing together the community and spotlighting some of the store's favorite brands of the season. You can even bring the little ones for story-times set in the store's beautiful reading nook.

The store will feature many brands loved by Texans, such as Paty, Kate Weiser Chocolate, and Texas Standard. Other notable brands carried will include Two’s Company, Zodax, Meri Meri, Lele Sadoughi, Lafco, Beekman 1802, Smathers & Branson, Jojo Maman Bébé, Pink Chicken, Tender Leaf Toys, Jan Barboglio, Hot Sox, and many more.
