With over 40 years of experience, Houston-based Design House has mastered the marriage of luxury and functionality.
Curated, customizable and convenient – these are the fundamental tiers upon which established interior designer and entrepreneur Connie LeFevre built her brand. Enter Design House: founded in 1975, the luxury interior design studio and showroom boasts an extensive collection of quality furniture and decor and a team of expert interior designers. But the vision doesn’t end there. Eager to expand Design House’s offerings, LeFevre dreamt up Fabric House in 2012. The boutique fabric showroom features an irresistible collection of fabrics, wallcoverings, and trims suitable for a variety of consumer tastes. And if the launch of Design House’s sister showroom wasn’t enough, LeFevre added a personal touch in the form of her own private label fabric, the LeFevre Collection, further emphasizing the brand’s core sentiment of personalization.
With a wealth of resources on hand, the professionals at Design House work to seamlessly blend functionality with beauty to create home environments that meet the needs – and wants – of each client. In fact, LeFevre attributes much of the brand’s success to their relationship with clients.
“We work in partnership with clients to create unique, personalized environments by interpreting and anticipating their needs and lifestyles,” LeFevre says. In choosing Design House, clients can expect to be met with open ears, keen attention to detail, and committed work ethic. “We sincerely want to be the customer’s problem solvers,” LeFevre says. “We will find the product they need, whether through our library of sources, customizing or bespoke items.”
Much like that of Cinderella’s fairy godmother, the team at Design House works to almost magically conjure up whatever their clients may desire. “If we do not have what a client is looking for on our showroom floor we will do the work of sourcing options that meet the client or customer needs and budget,” she adds. Not to worry though, LeFevre’s magic is here to stay long after midnight.
