By Design Interiors invites you to ‘Explore the Possible’ for your home. From concept to final reveal, they take on every project with a creative spirit. Peggy Fuller, Owner, Founder, and Principal Interior Designer, along with her team of 5 Senior Designers are well prepared to guide you along this exciting process.
We sat down with Peggy, to learn more about her dynamic female-led firm and their adventurous philosophy that has kept By Design Interiors at the forefront of design for the past 30 Years.
First, Tell us about By Design Interiors. How did you begin?
Peggy Fuller: I founded in 1990. I began in the spare bedroom of my home. In a way, it was out of necessity – I needed to provide for my family while utilizing my talent and passion for design. My hard work, successes and setbacks have made By Design Interiors the amazing design firm it is today. I feel this experience is invaluable. It’s the most effective way to learn. That paired with creativity and forward thinking has produced a leading design firm staffed with 12 wonderful women.
We create exceptional designs for both residential and small commercial projects – but specialize in high-end interiors. We also team with custom builders, architects, and renovation contractors to collectively create the Possible for our clients.

What do you offer to your clients?
Peggy Fuller: We offer each client a unique design experience, keeping our clients at the forefront of every design – we listen to what they have to say, how they work, live and play - using that as the inspiration behind each design! I believe in a ‘client-centered approach’ which has been the driving force behind our 30 years of success.

What makes By Design Interiors different from other design firms in the area?
Peggy Fuller: We have a staff of 12 women, made up of senior designers, assistant designers, and a fabulous support staff. Each design team represents By Design Interiors, yet they freely navigate their own projects. It’s a very independent process between the designer and her clients, while at the same time supported by me and our BDI staff.

What is one word that describes By Design Interiors design approach?
Peggy Fuller: I would say “Adventurous”. Why – because that is what working with a designer should be. It’s our job to take each client on a journey to ‘explore the possible’ of what their home can become presenting new ideas, concepts, and designs that they may not have thought of before.
