Opulence awaits at Houston’s newest culinary destination, Cocody.
The chef’s table at Cocody offers an exclusive dining experience replete with off-menu items, a private waitstaff and more.
Transport yourself into a culinary paradise as you step inside Houston’s recently unveiled restaurant, Cocody. Helmed by husband and wife duo Edwin and Edith Bosso, the goal was to evoke a Parisian eatery’s romantic je ne sais quoi. And it does just that, in stylish spades. The restaurant’s design is undoubtedly the chef’s kiss. “The Bossos encouraged the design team to draw inspiration from far-flung and unexpected sources around the world,” shares Austin-based architect Winn Wittman, who the Bossos tapped to execute the project. Wittman brought in Houston designer extraordinaire Nina Magon of Nina Magon Studio to impart her creative vision. The result? A kaleidoscopic wander to enhance the unrivaled culinary experience. “The intention was to infuse an atmosphere of playfulness and opulence into the entire space, creating an environment where patrons would bask in the enchanting and ethereal illumination as if immersed in a warm, whimsical glow,” notes Magon. With a golden horseshoe-shaped bar, swaths of color and unrivaled furnishings, Cocody is the ultimate treasure trove. 1971 W. Gray St.
