The recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling against the right to female reproductive autonomy has left many people feeling lost and fearful for the future. With the belief that women's rights are human rights, Citizens of Humanity went into action.
Teaming up with I Am A Voter, they are set to release a the "I am a voter." capsule collection.
The line, which will debut on Register a Friend Day on July 28, will directly benefit I Am A Voter and its mission to create a cultural shift around voting and civic engagement
I Am A Voter is a nonpartisan group attempting to create a cultural shift around the idea of voting and hopes to limit the number of people who abstain from voting because a true democracy works best when everyone shows up. A vote is a vital yet often overlooked part of not only standing up for your beliefs, but supporting the function of a true democracy.
Citizen of Humanity is known for its high-quality denim that uses ethical production operations and skilled craftsmanship, leaving customers with pieces that will last for years. Every product is designed and manufactured by a team of employees who desire to uplift women and reduce their global footprint by using even the smallest of efforts.

Because these ideals are strongly ingrained in the company, Citizens of Humanity believes that whether you identify as a woman or not, it is your responsibility to fight against this decision and show up to vote. This partnership will help spread the word about the importance of basic human rights and the necessity of voting, with the catchphrase of "my vote, my choice." The limited-edition capsule will consist of two options: a t-shirt and a hoodie with the catchphrase on the front and the I Am A Voter motif on the back.
Both of these brands believe in creating a more positive environment and global community and urge their supporters to go out and make those small differences to ensure a better tomorrow.
"When Citizens of Humanity came to us with the idea for this collaboration, we knew it was the perfect fit! In what will be the most consequential midterm election of our lifetime, this collection reminds all of us that elections are all about 'my vote, my choice,' which is what makes our democracy so special," said Natalie Tran, executive director of the CAA Foundation and co-founder of I Am A Voter.
"Thursday, July 28th is #RegisterAFriendDay, a day dedicated to reaching out and making sure all our friends are registered to vote," Tran added. "If you moved or changed addresses during the pandemic, or if you are one of the estimated 8 million Americans who were too young to vote in 2020 and might be voting for the first time this year, you need to register to vote! You can text FRIENDS to 26797 and we will make sure you get the information you need to do it.”
