Luxury book publisher Assouline has opened up shop in River Oaks District, bringing coffee-table couture and chic objets d’art to the Houston set.

The storied publishing house, which prints a range of fashion, art and design books in addition to the aforementioned Classics collection, kicked off the new year with the launch of its first Texas storefront. The River Oaks District boutique houses the entirety of the brand’s collections, all of which double as uberchic home decor. While Assouline has been synonymous with luxury culture from the start, the world of Instagram has brought the label to a much wider audience—and established its books as the go-to coffee-table accessory of today’s elite.
