We’re all obsessing over Ariana Grande’s outfit on The Voice the other night.
For those of you who live under a rock, the Grammy award-winning artist wore a lilac-colored custom long-sleeve crop top with crystal fringe embellishments and skirt during Season 21 of NBC's The Voice in Episode 7 and Episode 8.
Grande’s an outfit repeater? Gasp! Just kidding.
Ariana was wearing Ivan Young, a Malaysian designer who creates swoon-worthy styles that reflect sophistication and high attention to every detail.
The sumptuous two-piece outfit was custom made and is fully tailored and lined with 100% mulberry silk satin and finished in a delicate lilac hue that is fully achieved with natural dyes.

Both are painstakingly hand-embellished with thousands of glittering eco-friendly glass beads that leave an unmistakable impression. The skirt alone is crafted with an astounding 91400 beads; 2285 swinging strands that are made from 40 individual beads each.
These garments are truly a labor of love that takes a team of highly experienced artisans as many as 180 hours to craft the skirt and an additional 72 hours to craft the matching top.
"I am very grateful and honored to be trusted by Ariana’s team to design and customize this outfit for her appearance on The Voice. I was given very short notice to come up with designs of the top to go with my signature Crystal Fringes Skirt. All I did was to go with my instinct and came up with 9 sketches for Ariana to select from. It was crazy at the atelier; my team and I were rushing the pieces from day to night and to have them delivered on time. But all the hard work was worth it when we saw Ariana wore the complete outfit! She looked absolutely stunning!! I would be very happy to design for Ariana again in the future!" – Ivan Young
Designer Ivan Young especially created five different versions of the crop top as well as a mini-length crystal fringed skirt for the songstress, allowing for her to select her own variation of the head-turning style.
In response to an overwhelming number of inquiries about the look worn here, Ivan Young will have the pieces released as a part of their collections this coming November and will be naming the creations after Ariana.
