The LEED Silver-certified lodge sits on 235 acres of prime, lakefront property alongside the historic Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course. Getting there is a one-hour drive south from Reno-Tahoe International Airport. Unlike the neighboring casino resorts in the south shore area, the only games on-site are those related to chess or Monopoly. The Lodge’s 154 luxuriously appointed guest rooms and suites are thoughtfully designed and modern, many with views of Lake Tahoe or the iconic golf course.

Activities abound. Guests can summon the hotel’s Mercedes-Benz shuttle to take them to nearby Heavenly Village for shops, restaurants, ice skating and other entertainment options. During winter through early spring, Heavenly Ski Resort features the most skiiable acres in Lake Tahoe as well as an alpine roller coaster, gondola rides and snow tubing. The property also offers year-round daily yoga to start the day.
