What’s the most rewarding part about what you do? Helping people get in shape and seeing this fitness regimen actually change their lives. There’s something about fitness that can transform people physically, socially and mentally.

What is one thing you do to maintain mental well-being? Positive affirmations. When I was getting ready for fights, I would write down positive things about myself and my capabilities and say them throughout the day.
Go-to workout playlist: “Celebration” by Kool & the Gang. I’m into old-school stuff.
Every day I practice self-care by doing stretching and breathing exercises. In Western civilization, these are two things we don’t give enough credence to.
