With a cult-followed small-batch line of natural beauty products—including a touted “Botox in a bottle”—the 5-foot CEO and founder of Houston-based Parry Botanicals is just getting started.
Why did you start Parry Botanicals? I’ve always had a passion for skincare and beauty. For years, I’ve struggled with severe allergies and chemical sensitivities. I started looking for a product that was all-natural that I did not react to and quickly got frustrated.
So you decided to do it yourself. I actually started in my own home with my KitchenAid mixer and a few simple products.
What was your first product? Our 2 oz. Restorative Cream. It is still one of our top products.
What do you love most about what you do? Every day I receive positive feedback from people switching to clean beauty, but also from cancer communities, eczema and acne sufferers, and more.
What’s one thing you’ve done in the last year to change your health? I’ve been working on mindfulness. Also, meditation. The health benefits are amazing.
I can’t live without our anti-aging daily regimen.
What do you do when you need a wellness reset? I take a nice, long soak with magnesium salts in my Jason air tub.
