French Cultures Festival Kick-Off Concert's Line-Up

The free and family event, open to the public, will be held on Friday, March 6 from 6pm to 10pm at Discovery Green in downtown Houston, showcasing a bouncing mix of French / Indie & Blues rock, folk, pop and soul sounds with three bands: CharlElie Couture (France, produced in the 80’s by Houston-based publisher Michael Zilkha), Ariane Roy (Québec) and Vodi (Houston, TX).

Party Notes/Description: Houston’s largest art festival will take over Memorial Park as it spotlights 300 artists, representing 19 different disciplines. Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park will benefit local nonprofits and feature live music throughout the festival along with entertainment, beverage stations, food trucks and much more for patrons to enjoy. In the Children’s Creative Zone, the festival’s nonprofit partners will host hands-on art activities for all ages and include a cool interactive place to hangout.

Keels & Wheels Concours d’Elegance is nationally acclaimed, as the largest classic car and vintage wooden boat show in the United States. The show takes place each spring at the Lakewood Yacht Club in beautiful Seabrook, Texas. Keels & Wheels welcomes approximately 200 cars and 100 boats, and has raised more than $1.8 million for local charities, while drawing thousands of participants and spectators from all over the U.S. and Europe.
